Knock Cottage overlooks Balmoral Castle, the valley of the Dee and Lochnagar. It has one of the most beautiful and breathtaking views in the land.

The cottage is ideal for climbers, walkers,bird watchers and wilderness lovers and there are several golf courses nearby.

Knock Cottage is ideally situated for the sportsman with fishing and shooting over Invercauld, Balmoral and Mar Estates.

The best of the Highland Games (Aboyne, Braemar, Lonach and Ballater) are all within half an hour's drive.

The local whisky distillery (Royal Lochnagar) welcomes visitors as do a wealth of old castles and beautiful gardens in the area.

Knock Cottage, built of granite at the end of the 19th century, sits at altitude of 1400 feet, above the Dee valley.

It has its own unlimited supply of spring water and has every modern convenience. Centrally heated with washing machine, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, digital television, telephone etc., it also offers the friendliness of an open fire (should you want it) and every window will make you pause to admire the view.

The spacious accommodation comprises:

Entrance porch (for coats and wellies etc.), a large kitchen / dining room, sitting room, two double bedrooms, a spacious and comfortable bathroom and a well appointed WC on the first floor.

If required two more people can be accommodated using the sofa bed in the sitting room.

The price per week is £400.00

This includes electricity, linen, towels and logs (if required).
